Ripples on the Pond was printed several years ago for family members by Aunt Suzanne. Now a special DVD was completed for fathers day,based the words from the poem Ripples on the Pond the poem that was written for the book, of the same title based on Wilford's childhood experiences, as well as the special memories of his Mormor, "grandmother" and their walks where they would watch the peddles skip across the water .
Wiford's memories of his Mormor and Mother hold a special place in his heart.His father wasn't home much in his growing up years, and was always traveling and hoping to find any job he could to support the family, so they didn't have as close of relationship with him.
The women in Wilford's life had a special influence is still felt in his life, and can be see as he makes visit to the cemetery where it says he takes moment to reflect in apperication for his parents and grandmother. With time the memories get sweeter and his love keeps growing.
Wilford said that he especially takes the time to thanks his mother for his "belly button,Because Without her he would not be" he says.
Along with the words of Sandra Crowther's poem, Ryan Olson composed and preformed an original score that was inspired by the poem. And together along photos of Grandpa's life, it became was finally completed.
